The following recommendations
focus on the reproduction of the Vitro identity
on visual media.
Recommendations > Considering
and Evaluating Suppliers
• Suppliers that are duly registered
with Vitro’s Procurement Department
shall have priority: in the event that a
specialized or non-registered supplier si
required, please request the department‘s
recommendation.
• When turning to a specialized printing
supplier for Vitro’s corporate brand
reproduction on high quality or large format
applications, make sure you provide the
Logo in any of the following formats that
the supplier can read: Corel Draw (cdr),
Freehand (fh), Illustrator (ai).
Recommendations > Logo
Reproduction
• The copying and/or reproducing
of Vitro’s logo by re-drawing or digitalizing
a printed and/or copied of faxed image is
prohibited, and consequently such limitation
must be explained and relayed to any and
all suppliers.
• On Offset prints (color selection),
where printing plates are developed for
each color (CMYK), prior to final production
please verify a dummy with your supplier,
with the intention of avoiding an uneven
overlay of the plates that make up the Vitro
logo’s color.
Recommendations> Color
Backgrounds
Do not use pale, unsaturated
and gray scale colors as the Vitro logo’s
background, the recommended and non-recommended
colors for diverse applications of promotional
or advertising nature, without limiting
to these examples, are as follows:
• Dark colors (recommended):
Some examples of hues intensified by the
use of black.
• Saturated colors (from
this group, we recommend red, blue, and
purple):
Pure hues containing no white, black, gray
or complementary colors.
• Unsaturated (not recommended):
Dark hues containing white.
• Pale colors (not recommended):
Light hues containing white.
• Gray scale (not recommended):
Recommendations
> Office Printing
• For printing word or excel documents,
etc. for office use, the Vitro logo color
variation 47% black in jpg format is the
most recommendable. You’ll find three
available sizes for this application on
the Downloads menu.
Recommendations > ¿How
to grow a logo?
• When increasing the size of the
Vitro logo, click on the image and pull
from a corner while pressing the Shift button,
avoiding any horizontal and/or vertical
distortion to the Vitro logo.
Recomendaciones > Vinyl
Stickers
• When applying a Vitro
logo vinyl sticker, companies must ensure
proper adherence to the final surface, avoiding
and/or eliminating air bubbles.
