The VES is comprised of seven different elements that include: planning, prevention, regulatory controls, ecology efficiency, environmental culture and performance measures, and even goes further by including a valuation process and continuous improvement measures.

All of our facilities in Mexico have been certified as “Clean Industry” by the Mexican Environmental Agency. Having fulfilled this goal and embracing our internal Environmental System, we have been focusing our efforts on the National Program for Environmental Excellence, a certification that we achieved in 2005 through our subsidiary Industria del Álcali.

We have been fulfilling the different regulations in the countries where we conduct business. Proof of this is that on the Iberian Peninsula we fully comply with the Technical Building Code, the regulatory arm in Spain that establishes the basic requirements in building construction codes to insure the safety of all personnel, the wellbeing of society, sustainability of the building and protection of the environment.
