Reflective
Reflectasol is a high efficiency reflective glass produced by ion bombardment under controlled pressure's conditions. To make it metals are combined with gases, in order to give a variety of tints that are classified in two series:

A Series (stainless steel)
AP (silver)
AB (bronze)
AG (antique gray)

T Series (titanium)
TG (gray)
TC (sky blue)

Reflectasol glass' basic function is to reflect and absorb excessive transmission of heat from outwards. Such reduction in thermal and light transmission translates into considerable savings. Right from the design stage, the capital cost of air-conditioning equipment brings down, and when the building is in use energy and maintenance costs are significantly lower.

Because of its high reflectivity, Reflectasol has the additional aesthetic value of blending well its environment.

Reflectasol glass rejects from 62% to 82% of outward heat (infra-red rays) and, since light cannot be totally separated from heat, it also rejects from 9% to 31% of visible light.

It is important to note that as visible light is filtered out through the glass, 95% of the ultra-violet rays, considered harmful to interior colors and textures, are also eliminated.

Uses and Applications
Reflectasol glass is ideal for facades and buildings where maximum outward visibility is required, without having to incur in heavy cots for acquiring and running air-conditioning equipment with its electric power's high consumption.

Technical progresses of today have allowed the making of safe ordinary glass, as LAMINATED and TEMPERED glass, and to be made thermal insulated, as the DUOVENT Units.
