| | | | | Laminated Glassī additional information
Automotive laminated glass is made via a rolling process of two sheets of annealing glass and a flexible plastic intermediate film of Polyvinyl Butiral (PVB).
Its main feature is the adhesion of the glass particles to the plastic film in case of breakage. This gives it shatterproof properties and protects the occupants of the vehicle from the glass fragments. The laminated products are mainly used in windshields. | |
