The Clear Choice Awards is the only awards program that recognizes consumer product goods (CPG) companies that package their food, wine, beverage, cosmetic and fragrance products in glass in the United States.
As evidenced by the winners of the of the 2006 competition, head-turning labeling options, innovative printing techniques, and debussed molds continue to add premium image and consumer appeal for glass containers.
All 2006 winning products were displayed at The Glass Packaging Institute’s offices in Washington, D.C. and will be featured at the Awards Ceremony on May 8th. in Chicago. The year’s panel of judges were: Laura Bix, Assistant Professor, Michigan State University (Packaging School), Andrew Kaplan, Managing Editor of Beverage World (trade publication focusing on the beverage industry, Lynn Mueller, Creative Director of LAGA (packaging design firm), Pat Reynolds, Editor & V.P. of Packaging World (trade publication focusing on the packaging industry), and Barry Scher, Public Affairs, Giant Food/Ahold USA (Supermarket/retail).
